What is BoomBizz™?

BoomBizz™ is an exciting business and enterprise education tool developed especially for learning organisations.

What does it do?

BoomBizz™ is a role playing simulation game in which two teams of 7 participants simulate setting up and running their own businesses. Originally aimed at 14-19 year olds and now enthusiastically received by learners of all ages, BoomBizz™ educates and inspires students in the learning environment to think about business and enterprise.

How does it work?

In a logical sequence, BoomBizz™ guides students through the process of selecting a market, deciding how to run their business and then making and delivering products. During each cycle of the simulation the particiapnts manufacture a product using construction bricks. They supply the products to meet customer demand and are measured against customer satisfaction, cash flow and profit.

At the end of each delivery cycle participants get the chance to reflect on their performance and make improvements to their businesses. Through these repeated cycles of play, reflect, improve, the game takes them on an exciting journey and leaves them with relevant and useful experience that teachers can draw on in later Work Related Learning, enterprise and Business Studies class sessions.

BoomBizz™ isn’t just for classroom or small study groups, BoomBizz™ is an exciting and engaging business and enterprise activity for whole year groups too. Where did BoomBizz™ come from?
